“Our Future at a Glance”

Holt Festival, Norfolk

In 2021, I had the honour of participating in the Holt Festival, an annual celebration of art, music, theatre, and literature held in the charming town of Holt, Norfolk. That year, I was proud to be nominated for the Sworders Art Prize — a recognition awarded to outstanding artists showcasing exceptional originality and technique.

I sold my oil painting “Our Future at a Glance”. The piece depicts two children in a museum, gazing at surreal frames showing a jellyfish consuming plastic, melting ice cream, and other symbols of environmental decay - a layered, “Inception-style” reflection on the world we’re leaving behind.

“On the Verge”

Higham Art Exhibition 2024

This is my entry piece for the Landscape Artist of the Year in 2020 which got me into the UK TV show as a Wild Card Artist. I was very grateful to have the opportunity to participate in. The filming set was based in the Eden Project in Cornwall, which was very relevant to my painting.

With the ever-changing world, the UK cliffs are only one of the most drastically affected areas when it comes to coastal erosion. Global warming and rises in sea level are exponentially increasing. Although my painting may be bright and vibrant, the stark reality is looming over us all and I've used this juxtaposition to also inspire hope that we may still be able to do something despite being On the Verge of destruction.

“Barcelona”

Higham Art Exhibition 2024

Biannually, the Higham Church in Suffolk, England holds an art exhibition inside the beautiful walls of their church. Gathering artists locally and regionally, it is an opportunity I always take to express my art, connect with fellow artists, and get inspired.

I sold my oil painting “Barcelona” which was inspired by a photo I took in Barcelona during one of my travels. The most interesting part is that the buyer of the painting had a son who lives in Barcelona who used to frequent this area and he wanted to have this piece hanging in his home to remind him of his son every time.
